1. About these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of the MoneyGuru website and our comparison and quote-referral services. By accessing the site or submitting a quote request you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Who we are
MoneyGuru is a New Zealand financial comparison and lead-referral platform. We are not an insurer, lender or fund manager and we do not give regulated financial advice. Regulated financial advice and product placement is handled by our licensed partner Evolve Group Limited (FSP711891), a Financial Advice Provider registered on the NZ Financial Service Providers Register, and other licensed providers including Vega Mortgages Limited (FSP653431) for mortgages and First Commercial Insurance Brokers Ltd (FSP748591) trading as FCIB (Member Broker of Insurance Advisernet New Zealand Ltd; Adviser: Stewart Hunt) for commercial and business insurance.
3. Permitted use
You may use MoneyGuru for your own personal, non-commercial purpose of researching and comparing financial products and requesting quotes. You must not scrape, copy or republish content, attempt to interfere with the site, or use the site to submit false information or impersonate another person.
4. Quote requests and referrals
When you submit a quote request, you authorise us to share the information you provide with one or more licensed advisers and product providers on our partner panel so they can contact you with quotes and personalised advice. Our handling of your information is governed by our Privacy Policy.
5. Commissions and partner panel
MoneyGuru receives a referral commission from licensed advisers and product providers when our referral results in a policy or loan being put in place. This does not increase the price you pay. Our partner panel may change from time to time.
6. No personalised advice
Information on the site is general in nature and does not take into account your personal circumstances. Please refer to our Disclaimer for further details before relying on any information.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MoneyGuru excludes all liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site. Where liability cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
